It would not be wrong to call Sartaj Aziz a living legend. He is a 92-year-old "young man" who has worked all his life in national and international institutions. He is now a more experienced bureaucrat in the political arena. Not a sensible person, he is also an observer of history and a history himself. Sartaj Sahib belongs to an educated family. His grandfather and father also wrote books. He wanted to become a lawyer but Quaid-e-Azam changed his path. He was a student at Islamia College Lahore in 1946. Quaid-e-Azam studied between 1937 and 1947. Eleven times he visited Islamia College and three times Sartaj Aziz Sahib had the opportunity to meet him. When Quaid-e-Azam came to the college in 1946 for prize distribution, Quaid said to the students, "You have become Mujahid Pakistan. You have to become the architect of Pakistan now." ۔
